Visiting the cellars
- Our Chalk Pits
- The cellars that hold the Ruinart treasures are like immense subterranean cathedrals lit by a dim light. The silence that enveloppes the walls invites a quiet contemplation. The temperature in the cellars remains constant at 11°C tempering the years during which our champagnes acquire thier nobility.
- Make an appointment
- Visits are organised from Monday to Friday (closed on weekends) on appointment :
Small groups : 1 to 8 persons per visit
Large groups : 18 persons maximum
Individual and group visits in French, English, German, Spanish, Dutch and Italian.

- A Sight to Behold
- As a classified site, the famous Ruinart cellars are a fascinating sight. An impressive staircase plunges more than 30 metres underground, finishing in a network of galleries that lead to our chalk pits, where our champagnes are aged.
- Getting there
- Station : Gare de Reims or Gare Champagne-Ardenne
Airport : Paris Charles de Gaulle airport or Orly airport
Road : via the A4 or A26, Reims is 134kms from Paris.
On the A4, take exit Reims St-Remi,
in the direction of Charleville/Luxembourg
